Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi
November 21, 22 and 23 2022.
Location: Märsta, nearby Stockholm International Airport.

In the summer of 2023, Opera på Skäret will celebrate its 20th anniversary by staging Giuseppe Verdis masterpiece Rigoletto. The production will be sung in Italian. The Swedish Chamber Orchestra – Svenska Kammarorkestern – will be playing and the conductor is Lorenzo Coladonato. All roles are casted after our live auditions.

Rehearsals: June 26–July 27
Performances: July 29–August 27

Opera på Skäret is located in Kopparberg, 230 kilometers northwest of Stockholm.

There will be 12-14 performances. The production will consist of two A casts in the principle roles, doing six or seven performances each. The casts will cover each other. Supporting roles sing all performances. All soloists must be available during the whole rehearsal period and must be present in Kopparberg on all performance dates.
