In the summer of 2025 Opera på Skäret will stage a production of Giacomo Puccinis opera Turandot. It will be a full-scale production with orchestra and chorus. The production will be sung in Italian and there will be 13 performances in total.
Auditions will take place in Stockholm (Märsta) in Sweden, close to Arlanda Airport on the following dates:

November 21, 2024
November 22, 2024
There will be no pre-casting before the auditions. All roles are casted after the live auditions.
The production will be staged and performed at Opera på Skäret and will be in two A casts in the principal roles and covering each other. Supporting roles will sing all performances.
All soloists must be available during the whole rehearsal period and be present in Kopparberg, the location of Opera på Skäret, on all of the performance dates.
Production dates in 2025:
Rehearsal Period: June 23 – July 26
Performance Period: July 26 – August 24

Principle Roles must prepare arias/duets from the role.
Supporting roles must prepare the solo lines and ensembles from Turandot and an additional aria in Italian.
