Tina Carina Akkaya is a costume designer at Opera på Skäret. In collaboration with Sven Östberg, she is responsible for the costumes in the production of Norma. She designs, creates the patterns, and sews in collaboration with her team. For several years, she has worked as the studio manager at Opera på Skäret and sewed costumes for Turandot, Un Ballo in Maschera, and Rigoletto. She began her career as a designer in the clothing technology program in Gothenburg and has since freelanced in a variety of contexts. Among other things, she has designed and sewn drag show costumes for Bobbie Kent’s Play Girls in Turkey for many years.
