Having graduated from the Verdi Conservatory in Milan, Lorenzo Coladonato worked as an opera conductor at the Zürich Opera for nine years. Thereafter he has been principal conductor at the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra and General Music Director at the Mersin State Opera and Ballet in Turkey. He has worked as a guest conductor for a number of eminent orchestras in Germany, Austria, italy, Spain, Russia and China. Lorenzo Coladonato’s operatic repertoire includes around sixty titles, ranging from baroque to verismo. He has conducted the Swedish Chamber Orchestra at Opera på Skäret, in the Magic Flute in 2019, Un Ballo in Maschera in 2022, and in Rigoletto 2023.
