Alexander Niclasson

Alexander Niclasson received his education at the Stockholm University of the Arts and the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Following his debut as Director at Opera på Skäret in 2007 with the Swedish opera farce “Kronofogdarne och Slåtterölet”, he has also directed Puccini’s La Bohème and II Tabarro, Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Verdi’s La Traviata on the same stage. Alexander is a trained opera singer and has performed at Folkoperan, Läckö Slottsopera, Drottningholm and Vadstena-Akademien. In addition to his involvement with Opera på Skäret’s operations, he still performs in oratorios and concerts. Alexander Niclasson has been the Artistic Director of Opera på Skäret since 2017.
