Alva Andersson is a Swedish soprano who has previously participated as a chorister in Opera på Skäret’s productions of Rigoletto by Verdi and Norma by Bellini. This year, she performs the roles of the servant and the temptress in Turandot. Alva has previously studied at the Ingesund School of Music, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2024, as well as at Stockholm Opera Studio. In the Scandinavian premiere of Handel’s opera Silla by Stockholm Opera Studio, Alva played the role of Lepido. Alva has a strong stage presence and has also performed as a soloist in works such as Carmina Burana and Handel’s Messiah.
