A multifaceted pianist who has performed with all of the major symphony orchestras in Sweden, giving orchestra concerts and solo shows on stages including Carnegie Hall in New York, Alter Open in Frankfurt, Cologne Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Vienna and Birmingham Symphony Hall. He has performed together with eminent Swedish soloists as Peter Mattei, Malena Ernman and Matilda Paulsson. He has been awarded a Swedish Grammy. Bengt-Åke has collaborated with Opera på Skäret for many years, including as a repetiteur.
