After completing her singing studies with Robert Gambill at the UdK Berlin, the German mezzo–soprano Anna Werle has quickly developed a vast repertoire. In the 2023/24 season, Anna Werle not only makes her debut at Opera på Skäret, but she also makes her debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as 2nd Angel/Marie (Written on Skin) and at the Salzburg Easter Festival as La Cieca (La Gioconda). She has returned to the Sofia Opera as Angelina (La Cenerentola) and to Opernhaus Zürich as Waltraute (Die Walküre). Other recent debuts include Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde) at the Teatro Petruzzelli Bari and at the Sofia Opera, Charlotte (Werther) at the Theater Regensburg and Rossweise (Die Walküre) at the Staatsoper Stuttgart.
