The art of opera wouldn’t be what it is if it didn’t contain a bit of everything. Therefore, it’s only natural to not just have one premiere, but two. Even though premieres are wonderful in their own way, with all the excitement and joy they entail, the reason for having two premieres is different. Opera is indeed magnificent, but it also demands a lot from the singers. That’s why we at Opera på Skäret always have two singing ensembles and why we don’t just have one, but two premieres.
With that said, we’d like to take this opportunity to announce the singers who will be part of this summer’s two alternating singing ensembles. This is subject to change.
