Mezzo–soprano Andrea Niño began her music studies in her home country Colombia, but has also studied at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona, Spain, and the Teatro alla Scala Academy in Italy. Andrea Niño has also performed roles such as Angelina in Cinderella, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Madame La Rose in La Gazzetta and Meg in Falstaff. This will be the second time she takes on the role of Adalgisa, which she has also performed at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Spain. Other opera houses where Andrea Niño has performed include Teatro alla Scala in Italy and Bonn Theater in Germany. She has also performed at the Rossini Opera Festival in Italy.
