November 20, 21 and 22.
Opera på Skäret, Swedens leading International Summer Opera Festival will in the summer of 2024 stage a production of Vincenzo Bellini´s opera Norma at the main stage. The production will be sung in Italian and be a full scale production with orchestra and chorus.
Production dates in 2024:
Rehearsal Period: June 24-July 26
Performance Period: July 27-August 25
The production will be staged and performed at Opera på Skäret and will be in two A casts in the principle roles doing six performances each and covering each other. Supporting roles sing all performances.
All soloists must be available during the whole rehearsal period and be present in Kopparberg, the location of Opera på Skäret, on all of the performance dates.
No pre-casting in advance! All roles are casted after a live audition.
