We are delighted to welcome American director Jennifer Williams to the 2026 production of Puccini’s La Bohème. She has worked for many years in the United States and now lives in Berlin – and La Bohème is a work close to her heart.
This will actually be the third time Jennifer directs the opera. Each time she returns to it, she discovers something new: different characters she feels drawn to, new layers of the story revealing themselves depending on where one is in life.
