For the second year in a row, soprano Alina Tkachuk will be taking her place on the stage at Opera på Skäret. Last year, she sang Gilda in Rigoletto and now it is time to take on Norma. Alina Tkachuk is from the Ukraine and made her opera debut as a soloist in 2018 in the role of Micaela in Bizet’s Carmen at the Odessa National Opera and Ballet. She then sang roles such as Annina in La Traviata, Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Musetta in La Bohéme and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni over the following three years. She has since continued her career at opera houses in Germany and France. She has extensive experience performing concert in Ukraine, Italy, France and China, where she has sung works such as Carmina Burana and Stabat Mater. Alina Tkachuk received her musical education in Ukraine and Italy.
